Come to the Mutt Strut!
The Mutt Strut is what every dog-owner dreams of: An event where dogs are not just “allowed” but welcomed! Food for dogs, games for dogs, contests for dogs, everything is going to the dogs on Sunday, May 5, 2024, 4-7 pm, in Friendship Grove at Crystal Lake Park.
Visit the event website and click "Give to a Top Dog" at the top of the page to register to attend the event, along with your furry friend! It's not required, but you can use your ticket to cast your vote for who should be on Top! Just select the competitor as you register or donate.
Mutt Strut puts the “fun” in fundraiser:

- You make a donation, you get a Triptych beer. It’s that simple!

- Unleash your dog's inner artist at Colorfil’s Paw Painting booth!
- Test your dog's sense of smell at the Shell Game or Treat Hide-and-Seek!
- Try out the Agility Course!
- Pick up dog-swag at our vendor booths!

- Best trick? Longest ears? Fastest tail wag? Let's find out!
- The Pavlov Media Peanut Butter Licking Contest! (Everybody loves this Mutt Strut favorite).

Who will come out on top?
The Mutt Strut participant who raises the most money gets the Top Dog honor of appearing on a can of Triptych brew!
Mutt Strut is one of our biggest annual fundraisers and your participation is crucial!
CCHS is not funded by any government entities, nor any national animal welfare organizations. We rely on the generous members of this community to keep our doors open to animals in need. You help us shelter them while they wait to be adopted. You help us restore them to health when they are suffering Friends like YOU made it possible for us to care for over 1,700 animals last year!
And it's not just the "Top Dog" who walks away with prizes and glory! And, of course, every fundraiser will have the gratitude of everyone at CCHS, and especially our animal residents.
