Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend is off to a "running" start for Charity Running Partners like CCHS. Our goal is to raise $5,000 through race weekend efforts. There are many ways to help us reach that goal at all levels of participation, so if you want to help, we hope you find your best way to do so. Thank you for being so committed to our animals! We will update you on our successes and milestones, how you can help, and more, as we move toward Race Weekend 2023.
There are many ways you can help!
Immediately, runners and walkers can help our animal residents by signing up to fundraise for CCHS throughout Race Season 2023. Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend gives Champaign County and our wider community an annual opportunity to reach out to others to declare their commitment to causes they support. If you're passionate about our work at the Champaign County Humane Society, we would love you to share that passion with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and more! Fundraising can be as easy as publishing your donation link and seeing who might want to give!
CCHS can offer a limited number of discount codes to fundraising race participants, so if you were considering running or walking, consider this a sign! Reach out to the CCHS Event Coordinator at elizabeth@cuhumane.org to receive a break on registration when you join us! The registration cost will rise at the end of February, but our discount codes will still work, to give you even more savings!
I'm ready to run for CCHS!
If you have already registered and want to select a Charity Running Partner, there's still time to fundraise! It's easy to choose CCHS as your partner by editing your fundraising page from your RaceRoster profile.
Once you've registered to fundraise for CCHS, we will reach out with more information on how you can engage your network, spread awareness about CCHS's mission, and make a tangible difference in the lives of animals throughout Champaign County.
If "sit and stay" is more your speed, we would love your volunteer support on the racecourse. The race team needs volunteers to operate and ensure all runners stay safe, and anyone who wants to help them can generate donations for CCHS! There's a short online orientation session for volunteers before Race Weekend and just a few hours of your time on the course. The online volunteer portal makes it easy to pick shifts and locations to match your schedule and needs.
Just remember to select Champaign County Humane Society as a Charity Running Partner!
I want to "sit and stay" for CCHS!
Do you have someone to cheer on during Race Weekend 2023? The race team publishes event schedules and maps of their courses online. Consider finding shift times and course locations where you can encourage your friends to do their best, all while earning a donation for CCHS!
Thank you for your support, Champaign County! CCHS is the only open-admission animal shelter and adoption program in our area, and we couldn't do it without you. Please help us continue to shelter and care for companion animals in our community, by joining us in any way you can this Race Season. Whether it's posting a fundraising link, volunteering on the course, or making a gift, we thank you for your gift, your time, and your talent!
