The Champaign County Humane Society's Annual Meeting will be held Wednesday, 9/11/13 at the Champaign Public Library, Meeting Room B, at 6:30 p.m.

The agenda includes election of CCHS Board of Directors and a presentation by CCHS staff, summarizing the accomplishments of the 2012-13 fiscal year

The meeting is open to all our friends and supporters, but only CCHS Members may participate in the election of board members.  Members are individuals who have made contributions of $75 or more within the past year (as of August 12, 2013).

As required by the CCHS bylaws, we present the slate of candidates, along with their statements of interest and qualifications, here.

The Board of Directors is the governing body of CCHS and is responsible for developing overall policy and directing the property, business, and financial affairs of CCHS, as well as assuring compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Directors serve terms of three years, for a maximum of two consecutive terms, with a minimum of one year lapsing before being eligible for another term as director.
