Help us, help pets

Pets like Holiday, Tygren, and Miracle. These three siblings arrived at the shelter together, in July 2025. When Holiday and Miracle were adopted in February 2026, the trio had been in our care longer than any other dogs.

Tygren is still at CCHS.

Holiday, Tygren, and Miracle (pictured left to right) are just some of the almost 1,700 pets that relied on the Champaign County Humane Society to care for them last year. Care we couldn't provide without your generosity.

Thank you for giving to homeless animals.

We are grateful to our donors! With them, we were able to keep Miracle and Holiday safe and healthy until they found their families. And with your generosity, Tygren can continue to receive the best of care. Right now, our staff is working with Tygren to learn more about his behavior, work on training, and give him much needed love, patience, and consistency, until he makes his way home.

Please make a gift today, to keep our doors open to pets in need.

We are not a county agency, and we do not receive government funding. Nor are we affiliated with any national animal welfare organizations. The Champaign County Humane Society is an independent nonprofit, and we rely on the generosity of our community.

Thank you for being a part of our mission.
