This baseball season, the UI team is raising money for the pets at our shelter through the "Bark in the Park Fund". As part of the partnership, we brought some of our available dogs to a softball game in March, and a baseball game in April! If you want to see pets out in the community more, you can donate online at the Bark in the Park fund! Gifts here will help ensure we can keep promoting our pets, and ensuring all their needs are met at the shelter. Cash donations are also collected at baseball games, so be on the lookout the next time you go cheer on Coach Hartleb and the UI Baseball team!

Below are some photos of available dogs at the March 28 Softball game, UI vs Washington! It was a windy day, but we had a lot of fun meeting the community. After this event, two of the dogs had adoption interviews from attendees, and one of the dogs has gone home. We look forward to seeing you "out at the ballgame" in future seasons!
