Winter Sessions Starting!

Interact with pets, learn about humane treatment of animals, and get behind-the-scenes at the shelter at Pet Pals Club!

Your animal lover, aged 10-15, can join us one Tuesday a month for fun with friends and animals. Group 1 has already begun, but you can still join Group 2! They'll begin on December 23rd.

Caring for the Animals of Champaign County

Campaign County Humane Society is a full-service animal shelter, providing companion animals with essential medical care in a healthy environment to prepare them for adoption into new loving homes. We also provide humane education and a variety of programs to support and promote responsible pet ownership and prevent abandonment, cruelty and neglect. Since we opened our first shelter in 1954, we've helped thousands of animals find loving homes! Join us in making a lasting impact.

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 2-7 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: Noon - 5 PM
  • CLOSED: Tuesdays, and major holidays (see the CCHS calendar for closed dates)
