Silas: March 14, 2013

My name is Silas.  I haven’t been at CCHS very long, but I’ve made several new friends.  The first guy I met here was named Sampson  He’s playful and has lots of personality, just like me!  He recently went home to a new family.  What a lucky guy!  Before he left, he gave me the very important duty of carrying the torch as Shelter Dog in Training for the Mutt Strut.  He gave me these shoes and said they would help as I train for my big walk.  Thanks, Sampson, but I think I’ll strut my stuff with bare paws.  This shoe is for chewing!

Sampson: March 11, 2013

A wonderful family came to visit me today.  My friends at CCHS are telling me that I get to go to a place called home.  I’ve never been there before.  This is so exciting!  I will even get to show off all the cool things I learned at CCHS!  Thanks for the support everyone!  See you around!

Sampson: March 6, 2013

Hi! My name is Sampson. I have been at CCHS since January, 2013.
I am currently training for the Mutt Strut. There’s a lot of competition out there, so it’s important that I am in tip-top shape. I get several walks a day and for fun, the staff teaches me tricks. They are so easy to please. You should see the reactions I get when I give them a high five!
Not all of my four-legged friends can attend Mutt Strut, so I have been selected to represent all the homeless animals at CCHS. Our time here is temporary, but while we are here, we are loved.

We ask that you consider giving a gift that will help care for animals like me while we await our forever homes.
